In The Game, each group has a general alignment as a Hero group or a Villain group. Saisuke's known as a Hero, while Snowman's group is a villain group.
When The Game was new, alignment was determined by going through The Game's Tutorial. However, recently, a group's alignment is determined by popular vote within the group.
There are six alignments, three being in the Hero half and three being in the Villain half. The alignments are in alphabetical order:
- Cardista (Hero, blue)
- Demoli (Villain, brown)
- Erbana (Hero, violet)
- Kesti (Hero, yellow)
- Mani (Villain, red)
- Morto (Villain, green)
